ZOOM MEETING

Dr. Dewey teaches courses in African, African Diaspora, and Oceanic art. His research interests center on the arts of southern and eastern Africa, African iron arts and iron smelting, and the arts of the African Diaspora in India and Ecuador. 

A high-level primer on what Bitcoin is, what the other major cryptocurrencies are, a brief history of their performance, and where things are today.

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, which has provided oversight of the Commonwealth’s casino industry since its launch in 2006, has also been deploying new forms of gaming legalized by the legislature such as sports wagering, internet casino games, video gaming terminals at truck stops.

Ajay is the principal member of this Global Grant project in India.  He is visiting the US for Spring Break at Penn State.  However, he will be in New York City for the week, and will discuss the project from the Indian vantage point, the genesis of the project, its origins, needs assessment,  project scoping, vendor selection, solicitation of funds for the grant, working with both Districts Grants Chairs and International Service Advisors, and the current submission of the grant application to the Rotary Foundation with guidance from both District Governors. Q&A to follow.

Dr. Zabel teaches courses in modern architecture, with particular emphases on the architecture of the United States, Germany, and Russia.
