This program was started by Rotary Club of State College in 2018. In partnership with local law enforcement, Rotary distributes branded USB keys free of charge to parents in the community.
These encrypted keys, owned and updated by the parents, contains information unique to the kids, that would be helpful to law enforcement in an emergency.
The events were in partnership with:
- (2018, 2019) State College Police Department at the Municipal Building
- (Aug 2021) Centre County Sheriff Department at the 2021 Grange Fair.
- (Oct 2021) Patton Twp Police Dept.at State College Target Parking lot.

2. Document that describes important information useful to law enforcement
3. Instructions for Parents to modify encrypted contents of the Rotary Child_ID USB key.
