THREE CLUB ROTARIANS HONORED BY ROTARY FOUNDATION

At the Rotary Club of State College's meeting on September 23rd, Club President Bonnie Abrams and Vice President-Elect Elliot Abrams were honored for their ongoing support of the Rotary Foundation with Paul Harris Fellow pins, containing two sapphires in recognition of their giving levels. Assistant District Governor and member of the club Debbie Fudrow received a Benefactor’s Ribbon for including the Foundation in her estate planning.

The Rotary Foundation, in addition to supporting international initiatives such as polio eradication and thousands of local community grants, since 1947 has awarded more than 30,000 Ambassadorial Scholarships for men and women from over 100 countries to foster better international understanding. Today the Rotary Foundation is the world’s largest privately funded international scholarships program.
